The phone rang and plans were cancelled.
What would have been as good an opportunity as any to pack it in and take the day off was quickly blown by when we decided that with forty five minutes to spare, now would be as good a time as any to shoot a feature (and a vlog that’s coming later) on one of the coolest Toyota Crown builds in the Vancouver area.
Paul’s Crown features a full suite of SerialNine goodies, a Scion FRS torsen rear differential, a Nissan CD series six speed manual transmission and an excellent set of multipiece wheels with seventeen inch faces finished in a stunning midnight purple then polished step lipped up to eighteen inches.
The majority of the day was spent travelling around Langley and Maple Ridge finding locations to shoot the various details of Paul’s Crown as well as providing some opportunities to snag some pictures of his friend Nick’s Celsior and of course Karly’s kyusha inspired Laurel.
