With the Fraser Valley getting more rain in a few short days than we normally would get in an entire winter month the province was left in a short-term bout of chaos. Fuel restrictions, panic buying, major supply lines being cut off and multiple roads being closed leaving a handful of cities completely cut off from each other.

In the midst of all of this, Stefan managed to find a new spot to slide and wanted to show it to us. Initially, the plan was for us to just go and scope out the spot then hang out at Keith’s shop for a bit, but that changed quickly when Mikey called and said he would come through with his 1JZ powered Cressida.

The evening served as a good reminder that you don’t need good weather and an extravagant plan to have fun when you surround yourself with good people and cool cars. We headed up into the mountains a bit and slid Stefan’s new spot, after a handful of runs there we decided to go hit a few of the familiar corners in the area (you may remember seeing them in our Mountain Drifting video a few months ago).

After a few hours of issue-free drifting, we decided to call it a night and head back down to Keith’s shop where Mikey blessed us with a 1JZ sound-filled burnout and headed back home.
