We finally did it guys: Dylan has replaced his E36 with a genuine Japanese car from the 1980s. We welcome him to 1980s Japanese car ownership and hope it is more fun and exciting than the BMW ownership he left behind.
Dylan managed to find one of the best examples of the Mk2 Celica Supra that we’ve ever seen and after nearly two months of waiting for it to get finished and inspected for BC, it’s finally in his possession. He took it for its first drive and quick car wash with Jake and Josh to give it a rough shakedown.
The following day, after a quick visit to a model toy store owned by a Japanese family (where Sandra blows her entire life savings and Alex goes off the script and paints a Sileighty pink) Dylan and Alex take the Celica for a stroll through all of the fall coloured b-roads, get London Fogs, reminisce about old Toyotas, and talk about what the future holds for this one.
