The MOST Stylish Drifting in North America!

In the world of North American drifting, FinalBout has become a household name for fans that enjoy not only stylish driving but stylish cars as well. This popular drift series is known for its unique style and focus on Japanese cars. Recently, we had the opportunity to attend FinalBout NW at Affinity Circuit in Medford, Oregon, as a media team and it was an experience we will never forget.

Our journey started in Vancouver, British Columbia, where we all met up and prepared for the road trip ahead. The excitement was palpable as we loaded up the Alphard with gear and hit the road. The ten-hour drive down to Medford was an adventure in itself, as we took in the beautiful scenery along the way and shared laughs and stories with each other. We made it to the suburban mini-mansion that we had booked for the weekend on AirBNB and packed it in for the night.

The next morning, when we finally arrived at Affinity Circuit, the excitement in the air was contagious. We could hear the roar of engines and smell the burning rubber from the cars on the track. FinalBout NW is known for its unique scoring system, where teams are judged not only on their tandem driving skills but also on the aesthetics of their cars. This meant that we were in for a treat, as we would get to see some of the most stylish and impressive Japanese cars on this side of the Pacific.

As the competition got underway, we were blown away by the skill of the drivers and the beauty of their cars. The tandems were intense, with drivers pushing themselves and their cars to the limit, all while maintaining the precision and control necessary for a successful run. The judges took their time scoring each team, taking into consideration not only their driving skills but also the unique style and flair of their cars.

FinalBout NW at Affinity Circuit was an unforgettable experience that showcased the best of drift culture and Japanese car culture in North America. The focus on both driving skills and aesthetics made for an exciting and unique event that we were lucky to be a part of.
